My Town Agent is an equal opportunity employer (EOE).  We are looking for energetic and fun loving people.  You are required to have a North Carolina Real Estate license, either broker or provisional broker, a client worthy auto and a positive attitude.

Many of our agents do maintain secondary employment.  this is fine as long as it does not interfere with your real estate clients.

Our dress is considered casual.  We do not require neckties and/or dresses.  We prefer that you dress to show houses in comfortable and profession but functional wear.  We do expect you to be able to work the customer and show all aspects of a home including the yard, the crawl space opening and peek in the attic.

You are not required to drive with clients in your car as many agents have decided that their insurance does not cover this.

All of our agents maintain a virtual office from home utilizing all of My Town Agent technology.  We provide email, faxing and shared calenders for all of our agents.  Presently in our non-REO program we provide all signs and lock-boxes.  You will be required to purchase your name riders with your name and phone number.  You are also responsible for your business card cost.

We have a very straight forward approach with our new agent program.  Below are the basic programs we have to our.

 New North Carolina R.E. Broker (not provisional)

• No Monthly Fees
• 70% Commission
• 100% of all agent bonuses (except where bonus is paid in lieu of commission)
• $75 E&O Insurance per transaction
• Once you can reach and maintain one million dollars in gross sales within a rolling 12 month period your commission rate is changed to 75% commission with a $40 E&O commission.
